About

Canine massage therapy by a Certified Small Animal Massage Therapist has numerous benefits for your canine companion. Whether your dog has anxiety, is a senior, or a young athlete, your furry family member will appreciate the healing touch of massage therapy.

Relax

Nervous dogs can relax and experience less anxiety for nail trims or vet visits. Massage therapy helps lower stress hormones, such as cortisol, and increase feel-good hormones like serotonin, dopamine and oxytocin.

Relieve

Senior dogs can find relief from aches and the difficulties of age-related health issues. Massage therapy increases the flow of the circulatory system, which aids in the functioning of the body’s immune system. Mobility and joint function are also enhanced as the body’s cells receive more oxygen and nutrients from the increased blood flow.

Rejuvenate

Active dogs can experience accelerated healing time as massage therapy reduces inflammation and cell-repair time and increases flexibility and muscle tone.

About Me

One day as I was searching for a Canine Massage Therapist for my anxious rescue dog, it occurred to me that there was no reason I couldn’t become a certified Canine Massage Therapist. What a perfect way to help my dog and so many others like him, while indulging in my life-long obsession with dogs. I researched programs and ultimately signed up for the Ojai School of Canine Massage (OSOCM) because they offered a program with 100 hours of on-site intensive training combined with 150 hours of distance education. I am so proud to have received my certification through OSOCM and to know that they fully prepared me for success as a professional canine massage therapist. I am located in Sonoma County, California.

I can’t wait to meet your dog!
